Compared with the north China,the women in middle China base area participated in more productive labour.The first reason was related to the local economic structure.Second,the development of capitalism and commodity economy made the exuberant demand of labour.Moreover, the densely populated population forced men to earn income outside home,so that female replaced a part of male labor.Women could improve their family position by taking part in product labour in certain extent,but it was not correspond to their contribution to family.
