Abstract:Using literature analysis method and unstructured interview method, this paper studies how the universal two-child policy influences the career development of the women employment in university in China. The results show that: fertility has more adverse effects on women employment in university when the policy implemented, however, adverse effects difference with ordinary female staff since women employment in university have other characteristics of human capital and employment. Additionally, as an important factor, the university trade unions show intervention force which can eliminate the adverse effects a certain extent.
