Abstract:Based on the questionnaire survey of 1000 migrant workers in four counties (cities, districts) of Xinxiang City, Henan Province, Logistic model was used to evaluate the willingness of migrant workers' social insurance participation. The study found that migrant workers have a strong sense of insured, 90.7% of migrant workers expressed willingness to participate in social insurance. In terms of individual characteristics, the age, education and income of migrant workers have a significant impact on the willingness to participate in social insurance. In terms of institutional cognition, migrant workers' understanding of social insurance policy has a significant impact on the willingness to participate in social insurance In terms of corporate behavior, the degree of encouragement of migrant workers' insured has a significant effect on social insurance participation intention and is positively correlated. Therefore, in the design of social insurance system for migrant workers, we should not only give full consideration to the level of protection of migrant workers and the ability to pay, but also from the migrant workers personal characteristics, institutional awareness, corporate behavior differences, targeted to enhance social workers' willingness to participate in migrant workers.
