Taking the research work of trade unions as the study object, the paper reviews the development process, main achievements, experience characteristics and problems of trade union research work since the ninth congress of Chinese Trade Unions, according to the different historical stages, the major events of the party and the State, the key work of trade unions as the main line. And based on the new situation and new tasks, the paper looks forward to strengthening and improving the research work of trade unions, and puts forward the overall requirements and key tasks, which is of great significance to further promote the innovation and development of the trade union theory and practice.
