Abstract:Pursuing green development strategies, a new trend of international economic development is an inevitable choice of realizing the sound development of our economy and the "two-step" strategic objectives proposed in the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The development of green economy cannot be made without its source of value——green labors. The ideas of green labors, which could be traced back to economists of Karl Marx, Adam Smith, and Christian Schulze, are implied in what ILO (International Labor Organization) advocates such as decent work, enterprises' social responsibility, modernization, knowledge-based-economy, and modern social security. Currently, many problems have arisen in the field of social work in China. Hence, promoting healthy green labors requires the combined efforts of the government's active guidance, enterprises' new concept of employing people, and trade unions’ role of human rights protection. In addition, some valuable international experiences can also be used for references for different fields.
