New forms of businesses have one of the new kinetic energy of economic growth, and the economic value added of the new forms of businesses, together with those of the new industry and new model, features prominently in our country's GDP. Thus, more and more attention has been paid to the work-related injury issues of these new forms of business employees generated from the new links and new forms of activities, such as express delivery and food delivery workers, etc. Due to their lack of traditional labor relations, these people are not included in the workrelated protection scope. Thus, issues they have brought about become challenges of balancing the economic development and enhancing the wellbeing of people in the new era. This paper, by reviewing the international empirical studies and protection difficulties of informal workers, explores revelations of enhancing new forms of business employees' work-related injury protection in the current context of the economic development in China.
