Abstract:This study, based on the structural equation model analysis of 4540 questionnaire-data of employees in Beijing, examines the interactive relations between employees' vocational skills upgrading and their decent labor achievements. The result of study validates the three theoretical hypotheses put forward by the qualitative research, namely, the upgrading of vocational skills promotes realization of all dimensions of decent work, and the realization of the latter promotes investment of enterprises and employees in vocational skills upgrading. Moreover, the increase of investment in vocational skills upgrading leads to the upgrading of employees' vocational skills. Therefore, the upgrading of vocational skills and achievements of decent work promote each other, meanwhile the facilitating role of achievements of decent work on vocational skills upgrading exceeds its reverse relations. Hence, realizing the virtuous circles between vocational skills upgrading and decent labor achievements is the only way to building harmonious labor relations, promoting supply-side structural reform, and realizing the industrial transformation upgrading and that of growth mode transformation in China.
