Abstract:Research into China's labor relations is rooted in the country's historical experience, road practice, and national and social reality as well. After 70-year's development in five stages, a theoretical system of labor relations with Chinese characteristics has been established, i.e., on the basis of borrowing from the system of Western labor relations, it has abandoned the thinking of treating labor relations as purely economic relations and only using property rights rules to solve disputes. The theoretical system holds that the labor relations includes political relations, and the two parties in the labor relations are consistent in their fundamental interests, whilst the contradiction in the field of labor relations is the one of the specific interest differences based on the fundamental interest agreement, which is a contradiction among the people. Thus, the "four beams and eight pillars" of the state-led governance system of China's labor relations has been well established. At present, the market structure of our country's labor force has begun to undergo fundamental changes, and its economic development has shifted from a high-speed growth stage to a high-quality development stage. At the same time, the rapid development of the Internet platform economy has promoted the emergence of various new employment forms and opportunities. These changes will inevitably bring about changes of labor relations and new topics in labor relations research.
