Abstract:The current labor relations research is facing a development dilemma, and the decentralized multidisciplinary research status quo has sparked scholars' reflection. The focus of the reflection is whether the field of labor relations research can set up an integrated research paradigm and impacts of multidisciplinary research perspectives on the further development of labor relations research. This study finds that the state of multidisciplinary research on labor relations is of great significance to the rise and development of labor relations research, and the so-called integrated research paradigm is not suitable for this field. Moreover, the perspective of multidisciplinary research on labor relations can provide diversified ideas and multiple regulatory schemes to explain and solve the problems of real labor and employment relations, and is conducive to the continuous development of labor relations research.
