Abstract:The current empleyment situation in China is more severe than ever before. This can be seen from the employment pressure derivingfrom both impacts of the sudden COVID-19 epidemie and the great pressure and structural contradictions leng existed in our country. While thenew employment pattem has attracted increasingly attention and great importance has been attached to stabilizing and increasing employment, someissues, such as relevant laws and regulations to be improved, insuficient social security for new employees, the public service system meeting theneeds of new career devclopment to be improved, and many institutional obstacles concerning the development of platform economy, still remainin the development of new employment pattem in our country. To give full play to the role of new employment forms in stabilizing employment,this study proposes that with principles of encouraging immovation, and inclusiveness and prudence, and institutional innovation as the starting point,we should set up a mature market environment and a more people-fnendly business environment for the development of new employment forms indeepening reform and innovative development
