Fully utilizing both domestic and international markets and resources (two markets and their respective resources) is an important content of contemporary Marxist political economy and the key to ensuring the smooth progress of our country's socialist market economy. On the demand side, the synergistic and complementary expansion of the international and domestic markets is a key factor to ensure our country's sustainable economic development; utilizing both domestic and external resources is indispensable for our country's economic development. Currently, a series of complex factors, such as changes in domestic economic development stage, changes in the international economic situation and effects of the CO VID 19 pandemic, have had a profound impact on our country's use of the domestic and international markets and resources. Therefore, we should adopt a number of strategic response measures, such as strengthening the dominant position of domestic demand, reducing dependence on external markets, especially developed countries, and ensuring the steady growth of exports, gradually reducing impacts on the US market dependence. Moreover, we should also reduce dependence of high-end production factors on foreign countries and increase autonomy of domestic related resources. Finally, we must prevent underestimating the role of external markets and emphasizing the need to "build behind closed doors", believing that emphasizing the dominant position of domestic large circulation will lead to the false views such as involution.
