Abstract:Harmonious labor relations are not only a reliable driving force for the development of social economy, but also an inevitable result of high-quality economic and social development. Currently, most of the studies on harmonious labor relations are qualitative ones made from the perspectives of management, law, and sociology, only a few of them focused on the normative system from the perspective of economics. On Harmonious Labor Relations, a book using the analysis methods of economics and combining theory and empirical research, analyzes the main factors that affect the construction of harmonious labor relations in China. And at the end of the book, it proposes a series of targeted and practical policy recommendations. The innovation of tbis research is mainly reflected in 1) its proposition of the "inverted U-shaped" change law of labor relations in the process of its technological progress, economic development and human capital accumulation; and 2) its evaluation on effectiveness of the tripartite negotiation mechanism for labor relations based on the background of the new normal of economic development and the rule of law, and emphasis on the government's responsibility in constructing harmonious labor relations.
