Abstract:The Communist Party of China has always attached great importance to the work of trade unions, and has accumulated rich experience in leading and advancing trade unions work over the past century, i.e. unswerving adhering to the scientific guidance of Marxist theory, taking the party's leadership as the fundamental guarantee for trade unions work, upholding integrating leading trade unions work into the strategic overall situation of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, upholding keeping close ties and uniting with the workers and the masses as the starting point for leading the work of trade unions, and upholding handling affairs in accordance with laws and regulations as a solid guarantee for the leadership and trade unions work. At present, in the face of profound national and international changes, the party is also facing some new situations in its leadership of trade unions. Drawing on the historical experience, we must further set up a scientific theory-leading mechanism, a responsibility implementation mechanism, a collaborative participation mechanism, and a performance evaluation mechanism to promote our party's trade unions work along the path of a socialist trade unions with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
