Abstract:At present, China has formed an employment support system for key groups consisting of a policy system, a service system, and a platform system. However, key groups are still faced with some difficulties and problems in achieving a higher quality and fuller employment, including difficulty in obtaining employment information for migrant workers, difficulty in matching the supply and demand of college graduates, employment, difficulty in matching job positions for veterans, and weak endogenous motivation for employment in disadvantaged groups. The causes for the above issues are mainly due to the imperfect employment information transmission mechanism, imperfect employment supply-demand matching mechanism, limited channels for enhancing employability, and the lack of strong employment role models. This study suggests that the following measures such as further improving the employment support system, building an employment information transmission mechanism, establishing an employment supply-demand matching mechanism, broadening the channels for improving employability, improving the model case demonstration system, and using the optimization and upgrading of the employment support system, be taken to improve the quality of employment and achieve a fuller and higher quality employment.
