Abstract:To understand the regulatory policies of platform economy in China and analyze its future development trends, it is necessary to grasp the theoretical logic inherent in them. The study argues that compared with the traditional model of economy, the uniqueness of platform economy makes its original regulatory system face great challenges, which is the economic logic of platform economy regulation. As China has entered a new stage of building a new development pattern, striving to achieve high-quality economic and social development, and comprehensively improving the government's governance capacity, improving supervision on platform economy also has its institutional logic. In recent years, China has made great progress in the notion of supervision on platform economy and innovation in policy measures. However, some urgent problems are to be solved in supervision. Looking to the future, China's supervision on platform economy shows the development trend of full-chain, rule of law and normalization, coordination of diverse subjects, and support of various technical means. Hence, to strengthen the indirect supervision based on credit will be an important task for China to build a long-term supervision system of platform economy.
