Abstract:In the era of digital economy, artificial intelligence and algorithm technology are widely used in the employment field, whilst they also bring algorithmic discrimination problems as well. Based on the literature review concerned, this study summarizes problems of the algorithmic employment discrimination and challenges of employment equity. This study posits that although algorithms can save enterprises' recruitment costs, and shorten the time of recruitment, they may also lead to discriminatory behavior in the process of recruitment and personnel management, thus violating labor rights. Drawing on foreign experience in the governance of algorithmic discrimination, this study proposes measures for the governance of algorithmic discrimination at the technical, legal, and social levels, guiding the healthy development of algorithmic technology in the employment field, maintaining employment equity, and promoting high-quality and full employment.
