Abstract:This article constructs a multi-level logistic regression model using the 2013-2021 China Social Situation Comprehensive Survey (CSS) and China Statistical Yearbook data to verify the relationship between the level of digital economy and high-quality employment of migrant workers. Research has found that firstly, the improvement of the digital economy has a significant promoting effect on the high-quality employment of migrant workers, but its effect varies among different groups; Secondly, the digital economy can regulate the impact of individual factors on the high-quality employment of migrant workers, reducing the gap in employment quality between groups of migrant workers with different characteristics; Thirdly, the development of the digital economy can affect the high-quality employment of migrant workers through two channels: information symmetry effect and industrial upgrading effect; Fourthly, the development of the digital economy has different impacts on the high-quality employment of migrant workers in different regions and industries. The development of the digital economy has a more prominent impact on the high-quality employment of migrant workers in the eastern and service industries.
