Abstract:The advancement of artifi cial intelligence (AI) technology has profoundly impacted labor and employment, making it a focal point in current academic research. Overall, studies primarily focus on AI's effects on aspects such as total employment, labor mobility and wages, labor relations, and labor theories. Research also indicates that AI development signifi cantly infl uences employment volume, employment structures, income distributions, and related theories. Yet divergent perspectives persist regarding specifi c mechanisms and magnitudes. This study, through a systematic review of relevant literature, outlines current academic insights into AI's impact on employment and labor. However, given AI's rapid iterative evolution, its full implications remain unrealized. Hence, research in this fi eld is expected to deepen over time.
